1. A headline is not 50% of the equation. It’s 100% of the first step in the equation, the second being the content that the user consumes. Not getting past the first step means the second step is wasted.


2. Activities are based on emotion, not intellectual thought, although some people like to think that. The act of connecting to someone requires aroused inputs. People need a reason, the reason does not have to be rational and the linker does not even have to be cognizant of why they are connecting as calling to their sub-witting is a lot better than carrying their witt.


3. Linkers as a folk follow a code; a pattern of conduct which if complied and breaded can be very gainful. A connecter links based on what the subject is comprehended to allow the reality. Multiple factors come into play when vibrating the link out of the links Find out who links, why they link, who they link to. Is there a format? Follow that form.


4. Sometimes you can’t place your finger on it, other times it’s strident plain why it works and you kick may yourself for not thinking of it first. Now you know good linkbait when you see it.


5. It appears obvious doesn’t it, but it’s not about getting on the front page of Facebook. It’s not about getting on the main page any social media front page; it may only works as linkbait if anyone pulls the spark and it will fires a link at your site. Which is cool to a point, I’ve had front page Facebook that got hardly any links. But what’s a rush getting to the front page of Bookmarking for the first time.
